We’re hiring a Graphic Designer

Our Legacy Creations is looking for a skilled and innovative Graphic Designer to become an integral part of our vibrant team. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining and enhancing the visual identity of our company’s brand. We’re looking for someone who can effectively create and execute visually compelling designs for both print media and digital platforms, including social media. Your work should showcase your ability to develop cohesive visual identities, design promotional materials, and adapt content for various formats and audiences, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.

The Graphic Designer will report functionally to the Director of Creation and will collaborate directly with our Artistic Director and marketing team to create visually engaging materials that align with our brand’s core values and artistic vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create visually striking designs for posters, flyers, brochures, digital ads, social media graphics, email campaigns, merchandise, and programs that align with the artistic themes of our theatrical productions.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent visual style that reflects the identity of the company, adapting designs for individual presentations while adhering to overall brand guidelines.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met, and materials are ready for print or digital release in a timely manner.
  • Design assets for digital use, including motion graphics, video overlays, or other media used in online promotion and interactive campaigns.
  • Prepare digital assets in various formats for web, social media, and email platforms.
  • When necessary, create custom illustrations or edit photography for promotional materials.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • 2-4 years of experience as a graphic designer, preferably in theater, entertainment, or a creative industry.
    • A comprehensive portfolio that highlights your design expertise and creative vision. This should include a diverse range of projects that demonstrate your strengths in branding, print, and digital marketing.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other Adobe Tools.) 
  • Proficiency in Keynote and PowerPoint 
  • Basic knowledge of web design (HTML/CSS) and video editing tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects) is a plus.
  • Experience with typography, layout design, and print production.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles and the ability to adapt to various artistic styles.
  • Ability to develop unique, out-of-the-box design solutions.
  • Deep understanding of visual aesthetics and design principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable working on a variety of projects and tasks, adjusting to different styles and requirements.
  • Works well in a team, incorporating feedback and ideas to enhance final outputs.
